Unacceptable:
Tar, grease, bird droppings or sawdust
Deviation of squareness must not exceed 1"

Stringers will be solid

    Solid stringers or repaired with mending plates
    Unacceptable:
    Less than 1 ¼" thick
    Companion stringers or blocks (plugs)
    Splits must not exceed 2" x width of stringer

Pallet Reconditioning Specifications Description – This is a pallet that has had stringer damage that has been repaired by attaching a companion stringer (plug) alongside the damaged one. The standard Class 2 pallet generally has repaired stringers. The deckboard configuration is not always consistent since the pallet has been repaired several times.
